With all due respect, there is no 'proper' way to grieve. There is no instruction manual on how to mourn the loss of a loved one. She is honoring her Father with this work, and doing what she loves most...I think that is a wonderful way for her to deal with her grief in a healthy and productive manner.

What a beautiful girl, inside and out- her Father would be proud.

26. I agree - a stupid comparison. I expect if Bindi decided she wanted to do something else, her mom would be fine with it. She seems like a very well adjusted and happy girl, much moreso than a lot of kids today.

Bindi needs to mourn (her dad) in a PROPER way? What do you suggest? That she spend her days throwing herself across her father's grave (if he has one, which is a secret).

Bindi is going through the serious business of growing up! She is who she is, her mom is giving her the freedom she needs to BE BINDI! She is a very wise mom and I admire her so much and have for years.

I really reject your comments that Terri Irwin is pimping her daughter. If you knew Terri's background like I do, you wouldn't say such things. Terri is a woman who lives with the same confidence and determination to succeed in the spirit of our Oregon women back to the pioneer days. She has the business acumen (having run her father's construction business for years before ever meeting Steve Irwin) to continue the success that she and her husband strived for with their Australian Zoo. Her children's happiness is the most important thing to Terri, and there is no way she would put them in jeopardy!
